Tea and Health

Enjoy a meal with a cup of tea with the family, certainly very delicious is not it? But you know? apparently not recommended to drink tea before and after meals.

 

What reason?

Drinking tea after eating causes the absorption of iron in the body is inhibited. In fact, iron is needed by the body for growth, especially in pregnant women and children. Tea contains tannin which then dissolves to form bonds with molecules of non-heme iron. So until today many Indonesian people who suffer from anemia. In addition to drink tea after a meal can neutralize the nutrients that are in food.

Things that Need to Be Avoided When Drinking Tea

1 Avoid drinking tea after a meal. Should drink tea 2 hours before and after meals to nutrients contained in food are not neutralized
 
2 Avoid drinking tea on an empty stomach as it can increase stomach acid.  
3 Avoid drinking tea with sugar because it can reduce the contained substances is reduced.  
4 For pregnant and nursing mothers are encouraged not to consume too much tea because tea has some dangerous concentrations of lead. The lead concentration can affect the development of the child and nerves.



However tea also has several benefits:

1 Helpful for gum health  

2 Eliminate stress  
3 Prevent shortness of breath  
4 Able to lose weight  
5. Eliminate fatigue and exhaustion  
6 Preventing osteoforosis  
7 Prevent allergies, etc.



 Tips Drink Tea

Add lemon in tea. Lemons contain nitric acid which will prevent the crust in the intestinal wall so that the lemon serves as a protector for our digestion.
